My design is inspired by Matthew 5:14: “You are the light of the world.” I wanted a phrase with deep meaning and chose “be the light” to connect to my Christian faith. Initially, I considered incorporating a light bulb into the cross but ultimately made the cross the focal point. I used two fonts to emphasize light. Louis George Cafe Light keeps “be the” minimal, using calming blue. The cross remains simple, with dotted ends for softness and diagonal lines to create a glowing effect. Adelia, a script font, gives “light” a flowing, distinct look, complemented by a bright yellow color. I balanced the composition to ensure the cross remains visually stable.
